Dealer Profiles:

Peter Dean has been in the trade for over 20 years dealing in predominantly 19th and 18th century period English furniture. He also turns his hand to restoration work. His pieces currently include an oak refectory table, mahogany chiffonier and a carved oak Monk's bench. Peter has sold his stock from reputable antiques shops and fairs all over the country, such as Newark, Long Melford, Bermondsey and Dorking. He is a cheery and familiar face on the East Anglian auction circuit!

Joseph Kennedy holds the prestigious title of Youngest Dealer in the centre! In a social climate of minimalist trends and modernist style, when many young people would baulk at the idea of anything 'old', it is refreshing to come across a twentysomething who's as happy down the local auction house as down the gym. That isn't to brand him a total antique geek either! When he isn't assisting at the centre, or working on furniture restoration projects at home, Joe plays lead guitar in a band called Trigger-Boo - a CD is being put together and they'll be gigging in Ipswich and Colchester very soon. Joe worked at R.E.H Kennedy in Ipswich as a French Polisher prior to joining the Yoxford team, so his interesting mixture of 19th and 18th Century pieces are always beautifully restored and polished. Why not come and say hello?
